2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

If this thread gets locked then The Fringe is going to break contain and spill out into every other thread on the board.

No matter how strongly worded the posts might be to try and stop them, things could escalate. Death threats could even be issued.

For the love of humanity (and manatees) govern yourselves accordingly.

My advice is just let The Fringe be, at least we know where they are.
some of The Fringe have been laying low.... hibernating until the season starts.... no-one wants to wake up The Fringe midway through the offseason.

tCun apparently hosted his dude and they are expecting a commitment.

This would be his fourth school and he's been terrible everywhere. Apparently the qb they got from Fresno St is hurt and if they're bringing this bologna sandwich in, they must not have much confidence in Jadyn Davis to play or back up Underwood...who himself looked like he needed A LOT of work in their spring game.

DFBIA on GoBlow is talking about how impressive his film is    I don't know WTF they are watching, Dude threw 8TD/12INT at East Carolina last year. He transferred because he was not going to be the starter for ECU too. Not because he's just "that good" that he was looking to upgrade schools.

PremierDrum:

Back from a week at the most magical swamp on earth - hope all the dads in our scandal threads enjoyed their day today!

As I've said from day 1, most of my sourcing throughout this has come from contacts made during my career in TV news. The interesting part about that industry is its transient nature - people are always coming and going. You might spend 2 years of nights, weekends, and holidays with someone before they hop, skip, and jump between other markets. You end up knowing folks everywhere.

In the week leading up to the COI panel hearing - and in the days since - I've checked in with contacts either adjacent or directly connected to other B1G teams, covering 6 other programs (not OSU or MSU).

The temperature checks here earlier in the scandal were varied... while all agreed that the infractions were serious, there were huge questions as to what the NCAA would ultimately have the stones to do.

Now, though? Just about everyone is expecting vacated wins, non-recognition of titles, and a multi-year postseason ban.

Perhaps most interestingly, though, is that most of them also ultimately expect the conference to act in at least some meaningful way (outright stripping of titles, further alteration of records, other sanctions) based on the COI's punishments.

In short, the rest of the conference is still pissed and expects appropriate actions to be taken.
