The documentary won't include anything with Ono: what his involvement is, or knowledge of it, or what he knew or when he knew it, or the nature of his departure...
And I'm almost as interested in this part of the story as I am the part with Stalions and the vacuum cleaners.

I don't think they want of the dirty laundry in public (tsun) and The Plastic Jock Sniffing Band doesn't want what he did out in public (or at least his agent/lawyers don't) so that he can have the shattered remains of a career. This is likely true for others like Simple Jim and Cryin' Sharon.

Put all of them together and I bet you will have to wait quite some time for the Netflix series about this because they will have NDAs all over the fucking place.

I hope not but I'd be shocked if there aren't.

This is becoming the thread with the highest angst level
We see it pop up.. hoping FINALLY they close the entire school
only to get tidbits of speculation and paint chips

Ono getting the perp walk means it's done in my mind.

Just waiting on details.

Harbaugh and Stalions are clearly the main focus, but you can't ignore the weird jock-sniffer in the corner. I guess I could see the lawyers saying just ignore Ono because the reality is so off the rails that a jury in a defamation trial might just assume you've made it all up.

The funny thing is that at UC I thought he was just a poor man's Gordon Gee who cynically used the athletic department to boost his own personal popularity and brand. When he got to tsun and the scandal broke, I came to the opinion that he really is genuinely obsessed with being accepted by the foosball players on a personal level.

I’m amazed that Michigan would reach out to Cincinnati for a president. Berkeley, Texas, UNC, Vandy, Northwestern, Wisconsin, or Illinois would have made more sense.
Likewise I’m shocked that Florida, a school on the rise, would pick Ono before the announcement. Wonder if there’s a super secret dump clause in the contract.

Ono left UC in 2016 and spent six years at the University of British Columbia before taking the UM job. Seems like 4-6 years is about how long he can keep the grift going before having to move on.
