So if I have friends and relatives run drugs for me and they get caught, I'm good.
I'm no criminal mastermind but something sounds off with that defense.

"The scale is exaggerated." This is a tell.
The center of their defense appears to remain that only games filmed by UM employees actually violate the advance scouting rule.
The NCAA has the spreadsheet. They know how many games were filmed. They know who shot what. They know which coaches accessed these materials.
The NCAA also knows - through the testimony of multiple involved parties - that it was Connor on the CMU sideline.
But yes, please, tell us how the scale of their operation is "exaggerated."
Just sayin: A scUM employee (Conner Stalions) buys the ticket and sends a relative/friend to film the game for him and that doesn't count as a NCAA violation......

Just sayin': Well, that ↑ is a definite "tell" that something crooked/shady is going on. I'm actually shocked that nobody (that we know of) at scUM has made money betting on their games during the cheating period (i.e. 2021 - 2023).

Just sayin': I think the ultimate irony here on scUM is that they actually had a very good team in 2023. They had an experienced QB that McCarty played pretty good (at least he did out play McCord in The Game), had 13 players drafted in the 2024 NFL draft, and there are predictions that they will still have 3 first round picks in the 2025 NFL draft. There was a very good chance that they could have won the National Championship in 2023 without cheating. But let's face it, "cheating was and is just in their DNA".......
