What argument does Michigan have? They pretty much admit they did it, but just claim "everyone does it" and "its not really cheating"
Big shocker that defense didn't fly, even with the weak ass NCAA.
I have a hard time believing CS would go out on his own and advance scout all these programs knowing it would jeopardize the school he loves. I just have to believe he got the go-ahead from someone.Sounds like they genuinely think they can argue that, since Stallions had friends and relatives filming for him and not him personally, that's all fine.

"The scale is exaggerated." This is a tell.
The center of their defense appears to remain that only games filmed by UM employees actually violate the advance scouting rule.
The NCAA has the spreadsheet. They know how many games were filmed. They know who shot what. They know which coaches accessed these materials.
The NCAA also knows - through the testimony of multiple involved parties - that it was Connor on the CMU sideline.
But yes, please, tell us how the scale of their operation is "exaggerated."
Just sayin: A scUM employee (Conner Stalions) buys the ticket and sends a relative/friend to film the game for him and that doesn't count as a NCAA violation......![]()

I‘m shocked, shocked, to discover gambling going on here!
Just sayin': Well, that ↑ is a definite "tell" that something crooked/shady is going on. I'm actually shocked that nobody (that we know of) at scUM has made money betting on their games during the cheating period (i.e. 2021 - 2023).They beat the spread by more than 70% for 2+ seasons. That never happens...fucking NEVER!
And because of Jimmy's inability to the right thing we will never really know. Such a shame ....Just sayin': I think the ultimate irony here on scUM is that they actually had a very good team in 2023. They had an experienced QB that McCarty played pretty good (at least he did out play McCord in The Game), had 13 players drafted in the 2024 NFL draft, and there are predictions that they will still have 3 first round picks in the 2025 NFL draft. There was a very good chance that they could have won the National Championship in 2023 without cheating. But let's face it, "cheating was and is just in their DNA".......![]()
