2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

I know I covered this earlier, but just re-upping how obvious it is their “source” is either Harbaugh or Stallions himself, and how unimaginably stupid it is for anyone to rely on either of those people to provide reliable, much less unbiased, perspective on this.

I know all "insiders" will run clickbait and shit to get views and click and they all should be taken with a grain of salt. scUMs are the worst though when it comes to straight up continuously pushing bullshit just because they know their audience will buy it and keep running with it.

Don't forget the "It was just Hamburgers" bullshit, that's still very much a defense as well

Yeah, I thought that the whole point of the NCAA rules was to make an even playing field. OSU providing things of substantial value for decades apparently does not make it an uneven playing field, but hamburgers do. It is just so stupid that any reasonable person might bristle at the thought that any enforcement effort would be wasted on it. And then using that to try and pile on repeat offender status just shows that they have an axe to grind and are not operating in good faith. You have to threaten a lawsuit, because the damage done to the brand is already enormous, and they are trying to make it worse. I wish we had the guts to go scorched earth, but I highly doubt that we do.

Ohio State players traded their own memorabilia for tattoos.....big on field advantage gained from that!

Meanwhile scUM has the Fab 5 which is probably the biggest pay for play scandal in modern college sports.

The part that stands out to me is that even the delusional ones are aware that the brand is going to get treated like a roofied chick at a Diddy party here

Love that analogy, Jax. At this point, their “brand” only exists in their own echo chamber. The rest of America knows they cheated and have disdain for their arrogance in denying and deflecting. Top recruits don’t give a shit about any self described “career advantage” from their diplomas. And every day that “natty” gets further and further in the rear view mirror. They will be forced to go “all in” on NIL or suffer the fate of more 8-5 mediocrity. I’m so glad I have a geographic front row seat to all of this.

let's check in how in-house crafted rhetoric is playing out elsewhere

The transfer portal haul shows that the "unlimited money cannon" crap they've been pushing is BS.

If they do have unlimited money they couldn't even pay better WRs to go there, they ended up with lower ranked transfers from Indiana and Umass

Let's pretend that we're all as stupid as they are for a minute. One question remains.............why? Why is the NCAA doing all this to them?

Sometimes, when I have an overly complicated conspiracy theory that is completely decimated by a single word.....sometimes I think to myself, wait.....am I the idiot here?
