2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

I figure there will eventually be a prediction thread but I was thinking about it and I want to put something here.

My birthday is August 9th. This is a WISH list, not exactly what I think will happen. Here it goes:

Vacated games from all of 2021, 2022 and 2023.

15 fewer scholarships for all of 2026, 2027 and 2028.

5 fewer scholarships for 2029 and 2030.

4 year bowl ban. (3 years for the cheating years of 2021, 2022 and 2023, 1 year for the significant Failure of Monitor and aggravated non-cooperation)

2 year show-causes for all members of the staff from 2021, 2022 and 2023.

5 year show cause for Cryin Sharon

Lifetime show cause for Stallions and Booger Eater.

$50 Million fine to the athletic department.

Significant increase in monitoring of all aspects of the Athletic Department, including quarterly audits of staff compliance and financial compliance by non-Michigan connected NCAA representatives.

If all of that happens, I'll be a very happy guy. I expect less than what is on this list, but a man can dream, right?

You had me at vacated games.

I want the final document to rake them over the coals by detailing the deceit, lack of cooperation, lying, destruction of evidence, etc. I also hope to see a statement that this is the worst cheating infraction and violation of the rules in any sport in history.
I mentioned that a few pages back. I want an aggressive statement from the NCAA detailing their transgressions, obfuscation, efforts to conceal, and outright lying. And name fucking names.

I don’t see the phrase “Lack Of Institutional Control” anywhere.

I think they’ll get LOIC, but I’d be pleasantly surprised at a 4-year bowl ban.

The schollies and the fine don’t matter much to me, but i think they’ll be part of it.

And I’m probably whistling in the wind, but I really want to see “no contests” instead of vacated wins. Why should their opponents be stuck with losses to those cheating pricks?
I mean I want Selma Hayak from From Dusk til Dawn to reside every night in my bedroom but beggars sometimes can't be choosers

This has nothing to do with allowing the school to run its own investigation. This is a standard process that was run as quickly as the rules allow but shitagain is responsible for delaying at every opportunity for a long as possible.

But as we wait it out, why don't you tell us why you think anyone would need to let shitagain "run it's own investigation" at this point?
I’m sure they did run their own investigation, looking for who knew what, when, or when Oh no knew and why he didn’t do anything. I’m sure they are also looking for any possible way to mitigate the damage.

My friends.
I implore you to stop worrying about Petitti's letter: It was as run-of-the-mill, part-of-the-job and expected as possible.
The facts of this case are air tight. The COI's punishment rubric is well-established. The list of aggravating factors could fill a Cheesecake Factory menu.
While Boob Salsa flaunts and flails about "wHiStLeBlOwEr" conspiracy theories so violently his nipples are chafing, the NCAA's legal team will soon - if they haven't already - sign off on the COI panel's decision to be readied for publication.
We aren't months away from the end of this: A week or two, maybe 3, are all that separates us from the truth.
We're here because UM couldn't stomach the NCAA's minimum ask.
That aggravated Failure to Monitor charge - with its 1 to 3 year postseason ban - looms large.

Stay the course.
