I’m thinking the same as @Premierdrum to be honest. He’s been very consistent this entire time that it’ll be along these lines.

I just don’t get how they’d get off light.

USC didn’t, OSU didn’t, PSU didn’t, Arizona State didn’t, Alabama didn’t, and even Kentucky didn’t as well.

This is worse than all of those by a lot and they’re repeat offenders. No way this isn’t heavy.

I’d be OK with “no contests”, which take away the wins and the opponents’ losses, but don’t turn those losses into wins.

I'd say these penalties pretty well align with what we've been hearing in the endless rumor mill & what most feel they deserve (though I'd argue 3 year postseason ban is more appropriate given they tainted 3 seasons with their bullshit). We'll see what it ends up being.

The "lifetime ban" for Cheatin' Jim is kind of laughable because that feeb would never return to CFB anyway. He spent his last 3-4 years up there trying desperately to get back to the NFL. But, I guess they have to slap him with something. It would seal him as probably the dirtiest coach in CFB history. I'm unaware of any coaches receiving "lifetime bans." I can recall basketball slimeballs like Dave Bliss, Donnie Tyndall, Todd Bozeman, and Clem Haskins receiving LONG show cause penalties, but I don't think they were actually "lifetime" bans.

It's great for how history remembers this though. Their best coach since the fall of the Ottoman Empire will be banned from the sport.
