I can almost abide the 13-10 stuff. They have bragging rights. And that's fine. But to call our title "illegitimate" while they're under investigation for the worst on the field cheating scandal in the history of the sport is just classic DFBIA. Like, take your bragging rights, but shut up about everything else because it's all fake.

Our NC is 100% legit because we won it in accordance with the rules in place in 2024.

Just like in 1903 scUM could win a NC by beating the likes of Case, Albion, Beloit, Ohio Northern, Drake, Oberlin, and Ferris State.

Indeed. I can deal with the 13-10 stuff, and even give props to their defense for making that happen. But I can't stand the stuff that they post making it sound like they won that game going away, and that our self inflicted wounds didn't play a major part. Nor can I put up with the * posts, and other such "illegitimate title" claims. I do agree that we wouldn't have won it without the expansion, but guess what, the expansion was there before the games were played. Same shit could be said about '14's title. And, guess what, if '02 didn't have the BCS, who thinks we would have been crowned over Miami? Good thing we won within the rules of the season at hand (and within the rules, in general, but I'll leave that situation to be determined).

Even if their title wasn't rotten with scandal and cheating, that team was by far the weakest 4 team playoff champion. They had a very fortunate set of circumstances with what was going on across the rest of the country that helped lead to it. Every other major program took a step back in 2023. A very meh Bama squad in the semi finals and then Washington who outside of TCU was the weakest team to reach the final in the 4 team era.

Some of them are really trying to call a Ohio State team who ripped through 4 top 10 teams in a month the "weakest title team" :lol:

They have reconcile the fact that OSU won the Natty, and that OSU fans value that more than beating them. That is all they have.

It's nonsense and they know it. I guess whatever allows them to grapple with their miserable existence.
