So the story goes.

Apparently went out the night of the incident to get away from AA (Southfield), got way over-served and then when asked to leave threw a lamp or lamp shade at the manager of the place they were at... then punched a cop who showed up.

It's still undefeated...

I hope to fuck Portnoy is being dragged for this sanctimonious bullshit. The program known for its blatant cheating who has had nearly a dozen coaches fired or arrested is going to use that as proof that THEY are the good guys because they actually investigate and punish? The implication being that all of these same things are going on at other schools who all bury it. “Everybody does it, we’re the only school righteous enough to put a stop to it!” Or maybe, Dave, other schools aren’t actually doing all this stuff and your program is just full of cheaters, criminals, and creeps?

Lol they didn't even punish Sherrone until the parents came in scorched earth and put the pressure on them. They literally were going to do nothing until it got to the point where they had to do something. People like Portnoy and a lot of the DFBIA will completely ignore that fact though.

I do think that they held off until after signing day. To the bold: Yes, it does open and starts the day of the next hire. People will say things like, "holding off until after signing day isn't as bad as it used to be... with the portal opening for a coaching change..." I think that's bull shit when it comes to this part of the calendar. If one of those kids who signed eliminated other opportunities to come to tsun and now no longer have a the opportunity (no room at the inn), then they were harmed by the decision to hold off making this public.

It's pure fucking Michigan. 100% on brand.

I didn’t always have nice 5 acre plot and college degrees. I grew up in the ghetto of Whitehall. I played football my entire life from 6 years old with guys of all races that went onto to play college and professional ball: Keiwan Ratliff (Florida/Bengals), Dom Hixon (Akron/Giants), Ryan Johnson (Toledo), Matt Angle (Orioles/Ohio State), etc. I still maintain good relationships with them, and not one ever mentions race - only character. We ALL struggled to fulfill our dreams, but did it the right way. /rant

It's a complete institutional problem; the whole thing needs to be burnt to the ground. Even their media "insider" darlings are basically admitting now that they already knew what was really going on at the time they were accusing anyone who brought the rumors up of "spreading slander to try to ruin our recruiting class!"
