You know… thinking more on it.

Things normally end up basic as complex as things may seem.

So the simple answer is the NCAA needed the funds for whatever they’re doing with the money and this was their cash cow.

This was the NCAA’s swan song.

They are the Walking Dead.

This was the NCAA’s swan song.

They are the Walking Dead.

After reading through @LordJeffBuck 's post, I'm actually reconsidering my irrelevance and your thought here @Thump.
If LJB's correct, then the NCAA is the simply the spokeperson and cover wrapped all in one. They won't be going anywhere as they're the ones who have to represent the perception of responsbility/accountability.

The fucking guy said it himself:

• "You don't put together an elaborate network called the 'KGB' ... spend tens of thousands of dollars ... unless you intend to gain a significant competitive advantage," Bay said.

How the fuck do you punish the competitive adv... sorry... the SIGNIFICANT competitive advantage? You negate that advantage, you fucking clown.

Correct, you dont spend 35k in one season for it to "help 2 plays".

[Jagdaddy]

Basically tsun is that white rich bitch boi Stanford student who raped a girl behind a dumpster and got like 4 mo probation because the judge didn't want to ruin a life.

That is a really an A + analogy.

Seems pretty certain right?

Correct, you dont spend 35k in one season for it to "help 2 plays".

You also CANT spend 35k when you barely make that much anyway.

Nah. They did exactly what the money men wanted. I don’t think they’re going anywhere.

Big Ten and SEC join together, TCUN is left out. Invite a handful of other schools from ACC and Big 12, or not. Break all ties with the NCAA. Form a new playoff and Natty game. Profit.

[JCOSU86]

This might be the biggest miscarriage of justice since what, the Central Park 5?

[cincibuck]

Michigan football/basketball/hockey make product for TV networks.

Some pigs are more equal than others.

[JCOSU86]

Between this NIL insanity, gambling in sports, and this, I'm about at the end of my rope with college sports.

[colobuck79]

I told a TCUN alum acquaintance (see how I didn’t say friend?) that if you get away with murder, you are still a fucking murderer.

[colobuck79]

Just was thinking that the motherfucking NCAA better give us back our motherfucking wins from the Pryor year.

[colobuck79]

Let me apologize that I may be dealing with today by drinking good, but cheap, bourbon (Evan Williams 1793). But let me say this. I forgot what I was going to say.
