I really think they try to be so smart that they over analyze things.

you have a kid who played for two big time programs, has two titles, and was the best at his position according to many last year. Then teams go and pick some of the OL they’ve selected.

Seriously some of these kids wouldn’t even play here at OSU but they’ll go ahead of players from OSU all the time. Odd to me.

I get in a homer but I’m talking about how could a team take a TE from a small program when they wouldn’t even start for a team like LSU for example.

Just strange how teams draft.

Edited: for example Pitt just has a TE drafted…. Wouldn’t you be more prone to wanting Gee Scott? Especially late in the process wouldn’t you want to take kids more battle tested? They probably have higher floors.

Drafting Mertz is insane. He's a college football never was with a bad injury history.

Right and Ewers is still there… seriously just why?

Neither were amazing in college but Ewers had a much better career while playing against some of the best players in the country.

Take the kid at the better school, with the much better stats, and the better tools.

Why is this such a difficult thing for GMs?

Hey Griper, now is when you should be disgusted. Seth McLaughlin still isnt even in his best 10 players available and not drafted before 150 other shit players in this draft. The real travesty of this draft not Shebop or whatever his stupid name is

JFC, the Dolphins have no fucking plan at all. Quinn has tools there's no doubt but that system is probably not going to highlight his strengths. Better get ready though because Tua will be concussed by lunchtime.
