Onyenso for UVA has 7 blocks so far against Duke, 5 in the 2nd half. Most of them against the Boozer bros. He does not start and did not start the 2nd half. About 12:00 minutes left, Duke up 2.

Ivy League Championship game GREAT. Penn's Power hit 2 clutch 3s (he's got 40 & 12) to tie the game with 1 second left in regulation. Yale's full-court heave went off the back iron, off by an inch. Going to OT.

ESPN graphics couldn't keep up with the game. TJ Power for Penn hit a game-tying 3-pointer with 1 second left. Yale immediately inbounded the ball and shot a 3/4 court shot that went off the back rim, and after the clock expired ESPN's graphic said Yale 75, Penn 72 final. LOL. The game is in OT.

Penn with the upset and wins back-to-back games in OT to secure their bid to the dance. Power finishes with 44 points and 14 rebounds - went 9-9 from the FT line (didn't even touch the rim) as a 61% FT shooter.

Yale had a 2-point lead with 10 seconds to go, they got a defensive rebound, had no turnovers, committed no fouls, made 4 of 4 FTs, and lost in OT.
They needed to foul when they were up 3, without letting Power shoot another 3.

It been great had that 70 footer went in for Yale. Hate to see a team like Yale knocked out they would been a solid 12 seed team that could have competed I really don't think Penn has any chance since they will be a lot lower seed like a 14 or 15.
Yale should fouled up 3 there was only 6 seconds left when they inbounded the ball and Power had just hit a 3 pointer and had 37 pts at that time. A really huge mistake to let him pull for 3 when he just hit one a few seconds ago.

Yeah, but to be fair it's gotten harder with the rule change to foul up 3, because now if a guy is able to gather before the foul, he can reactively chuck it up and get 3 free throws. So now to be able to foul up 3 successfully, you have to know the opponent will be unable to gather the ball before the contact. In other words, if a player with the ball knows the defender is coming for the foul, it can be risky to foul up 3.

Purdue with an 12-point lead in the BTT title game with 10 minutes to go. This is why you want to play a team that's defensive-oriented later in the conference tournament, as defense tends to fall off after playing multiple games in succession. Teams that have more offensive than defensive strength definitely tend to do better as conference tournaments progress.
