They let a Washington player go coast to coast basically undefended for an easy layup to tie the game to send it to the 2nd OT. Was comically bad.

Nah, the math ain't mathin there. $6 per person for food and drink (assuming they each get 3 items), that's $24. That is inexpensive to feed a family of four, but it's certainly not cheaper than buying at the grocery store and staying home if you're doing an apples-to-apples comparison. You can get a package of hot dogs for $6, a package of popcorn for $6 and a 24-can case of soda for $12, and you'll have enough left over to do it all again, so you get at least double the volume of food for the same price - and that's not counting the $4 for adult tickets and any fee for parking or transportation at the game.

New this year the B1G is going with a full 18-team conference tournament over 6 days. The lowest 4 seeds will be playing on Tuesday(!) and would have to play 6 games in 6 days to win the tournament. Meanwhile, the top-4 seeds start playing on Friday, so I guess now the old double-bye is a triple-bye.

Purdue just beat Memphis, who's now 1-3. Fletcher Loyer led all scorers with 20. Aaron Bradshaw got 5 fouls in just 9 minutes vs the Boilermakers. Fortunately for the Tigers, they play in the American conference so Bradshaw won't have to worry about fouling out every game. Purdue will play the winner of Wake Forest-Texas Tech tomorrow in the Baha Mar championship.

USC got by Troy in 3 OT when Troy got a rebound up by 2 with 9 seconds left. The guy tossed the ball out to half court, a USC guy ran it down, passed it to a guy who made an off-balance, contested 3 at the buzzer to win 107-106. It’s after the 3:40 mark here.
