Champion Christian came up 62 points short against McNeese
Bryan (TN) just couldn't compete with Austin Peay losing by 81! Points
That wasn't even the most lopsided result though as West Coast Baptist lost by 82 points to Weber State. But even that couldn't hold
Lincoln University (CA) came up with the worst effort of opening night. Losing by 83 points to Loyola Marymount
It's not all doom and gloom for the littlest of guys though. The Hawaii Pacific Sharks, a D2 squad who went 15-14 last year stunned Boise State 79-78

After losing 130-38 last night to Weber State. West Coast Baptist came back for more tonight losing 116-35 to Utah Valley. A defensive improvement at least.

The "College of Biblical Studies" is another sucker for punishment
Monday night - 95-48 loss to Prairie View
Tuesday night - 109-38 loss to Rice
And back for more tonight, a 3rd night in a row to take on Texas San-Antonio

Eh the talent gap (especially when it comes to athleticism) between lower level D1 and D3 is still pretty big. Cleveland State has 4 straight 20 win seasons coming into this year so they've been a pretty good lower level program.
