Right now the top-4 in Kenpom adjusted efficiency margin is UM (by 3 points), then Iowa State, Gonzaga and Duke. I am surprised Duke isn't higher. I would say right now UM, Duke and Iowa State are the top-3 in some order.

Coaching is everything in college hoops

Talent is more important than coaching. You could be the GOAT coach, but if you only get average players, you won't win the national championship. There aren't any teams that win the NCAA championship without 1st round NBA draft-level (or otherwise NBA-level) talent.

I'm surprised Bradshaw has the second-highest NIL on the Memphis roster, but maybe that speaks to the lack of high NIL earners at Memphis. This just goes to show once again NIL isn't really about name/image/likeness so much as pay for play.
