Thank God, we're blessed that Ed Cooley isn't the coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes. After all, he was on the short list of candidates at one point.

I loved that about him here. He spent a fortune for the students like that. He's a good man even if he didn't win here.

Talk about mentally tough man, the Miami Redhawks are nails in that department. Kent has the upset in their plates ready to eat and Miami snatched it from them and went off in OT. Similar to the Buckeyes OT effort, they left no doubt about who was going to win.

Keep an eye on this coach. Travis Steele.

Edit: not over yet. Kent 5 points last 10 seconds to cut it to 1 in OT. Lol

I listened to the entire 1st half of that Kent State/Miami game on the radio old school style since I am too cheap to pay for ESPN+. That is when I turned on Ohio State to watch that great finish then turned back to the Kent State/Miami game for the final 8 mins there and OT.

Miami sure is ranked super low in kenpom though at 93 and 52 in the NET coming into the night and with 0 quad 1 wins means they probably can only lose 1 regular season game and then lose in the MAC tournament for 2 total losses max and still feel safe for an at large bid.

I wish they could have scheduled at least 1 decent power school to see how they could done. Totally mystery box right now.

UCLA 8-0 run to beat #4 Purdue 69-67.

Had a Purdue buddy out there following them on the Cali trip (USC last Saturday, UCLA tonight). Hope he at least enjoyed Pauly Pavilion.
