2024 tOSU Offense

Might as well get it started to move forward.

I think next year the potential is there to have a very good offense.

Will return experience everywhere although we will likely have to replace key starters with MHJ, Egbuka, Henderson and Stover.

I’ll take a stab at the roster.

QB- McCord
RB- Hayden
TE- Scott and Thurman
WR- Tate, Innis and JJ Smith
OT- Simmons
G- Jackson
C- Heinzman
G- Montgomery
T- Fryar

Overall the OL should be better and IMO we need to consider adding a RB and an OL. If there’s an elite QB I think you have to consider that too.

Overall I think we can be even better next year on offense and maybe a little more balanced with who gets the ball (instead of always 32 or 18).

Really? He has no wiggle like X. Let him blow the top off the defense with his elite straight line speed. Tate and Innis will dominate underneath if he takes a safety with him.

Agreed on Fryar… but I think he’s a better guard.

So my hope is we go get a legit tackle and slide Fryar to guard. I think Carson will be just fine. That was year 1 for him and it was his first time as a center in his life. He’ll be fine.

As for Kyle, yeah he’s always been this way as a player from 2021until now. Every game he’s going to have 3-5 moments where you go “well that was dumb”. Then he will follow that up with a laser.

I think we can win with Kyle but unless Justin Fields 2.0 is available you can’t take a chance on a transfer QB

If it’s anyone, it’s Cam Ward. Washington State is basically being relegated next year. Any shot he has at awards, the playoff, national exposure are pretty much dead unless he leaves.

If he can stay healthy. He was banged up alot this year. Love watching the kid play though. I'm surprised he hasn't transferred to a bigger school than Toledo.

I think he was hurt a lot last year too. That's a big gamble for someone who seems injury prone

Was hoping Candle would get the job at MSU - would love to have seen what Finn and Boone could have done in the B1G. I guess there is still the chance at IU but, meh...Toledo has a game @ Miss. State next year and with Powers transferring, Toledo could legit run the table with them all back.
