*2024 tCun Shenanigans, Arguments, Cobras, Feckless Marmots, Fake Pandas, Dirty Cheaters

This loss is as demoralizing as possible. If they lost a close one they would be pumped up being in it. If they lost a off game to a lesser opponent, they would say it was a game they didn't take seriously.

Instead they got boat raced by a championship caliber team at home.

Scum is no longer elite.
Not sold on Texas as a championship caliber team, unless you are talking EFL Championship

Goblog is seeing this as total validation for the greatness of the jimmuh.

They were talking about losing players to the draft. Like yeah, despite what the covid exceptions may have lead you to believe, most players don't get to stay in college for a decade. Must suck to lose your best players to the draft every year. Wonder what that's like

50% of the fanbase is trying as hard as possible to act like they don't care because they won* the CFP. Last year was the end of history. 40% are trying go figure out what the party line should be and scrambling to praise Jimmy and previous players for being that good.

And then there's 10% starting to catch on that they don't have the guys, and there's no one behind those guys to look forward too, either.

Is the rest in the room with us right now? Even the guys that 'know ball' are desperate to ignore what they're seeing. There never was anything else there. Even the vaunted defense was embarrassed today.

Yes some defensive dude just said the only reason we lost was execution... You got your ass beat dude

It's the sweetest part. The defense was the backbone of their cheating run, and they returned some of the best players. That's supposed to be a top 10 unit. Texas has a great offense, but they didn't even make them work for it. Michigan looked closer to Indiana.
