Leave it to the DFBIA to cry about getting a personal foul when dude shoved the QB down like a good solid number of seconds after he had thrown the ball.

Was the late hit call the worst call against Michigan in recent memory? | mgoblog

The only other comparison that I can think of is the Higdon holding call in the 2018 Northwestern game. The infuriating thing was that there was also a pretty weak unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on the same play.

Any idea if there is a replay of the play? I’d rather not sift through the entire game of highlights to try to find this play.

Not in highlights I've found so far, but occurred with 5:28 left in the 4th if you find the full game.



At 8:51 in the video. Doesn't hit him hard, but the dumbass is stupid enough to push him, the QB can flop, and it looks bad to the ref.

That call is going to get made all day any day. Making any kind of push contact with the QB like 3-4 seconds after the ball is thrown is just asking for it
