So, the question is, is it worth not having early round upsets to get the best teams to this point so we can enjoy games like these?

IMO yes

These are the games the majority of people are watching. Early round games people will watch but not like the elite 8/final four.

So out of the four programs in the finals, none of whom I give a shit for/about; the most odious two have been eliminated. Hoooo ha!

I watched FL vs Auburn and damn entertaining game...
then I did not watch Houston-Duke
since all the talking heads said 'why bother, Duke by 100'

Yesterday was 2 of the most intense games I’ve seen this season perhaps longer. Tall athletic dudes who can run, box out, rebound, play d, shoot…..at all positions.

Now watching the best the women have to offer. It’s an exciting and fundamental game but the disparity in the athleticism and ability to play fluidly. No offense to the ladies, but about any Ohio boys high school team that is .500 could smoke either of these teams.

KenPom I think was influencing some of the Duke opinion. Pomeroy had Duke as clearly the best team. To be fair, they had it until the last 8 minutes of the game when Houston started taking it to them.

Seem to recollect that when Jacy and the Lady Buckeyes whomped up on UConn couple years back, Paige sat on the bench, injured. She never changed expression much, but glad she was sitting there, not playing.

Houston is gonna choke this and give fucking Florida another hoops title. Their 3rd in the last 20 years. Meanwhile we are "meeting expectations" with non postseason seasons

The refs have stepped in to call all fouls on Houston. This is fairly egregious.

Houston is on pace to launch 30 threes and is shooting 21%. UF isn't shooting much better, but Houston had this game in control and is just pissing it away with horrible shot selection. Basketball has become such a dumb sport.
