The guy who came up with the Elam ending researched something like 4,000 foul-o-rama's and determined they changed the outcome barely 1% of the time. They successfully suck the life out of a game 99% of the time.

I've never seen a bracket contest where no one picked the champion, but we're there and the elite eight isn't even finalized yet.

1980 the Elite 8 in seeds were (3/5) (1/2) (4/6) (6/8) with FF being (2/5) (6/8) with Final being 2 beating 8

2006 the Elite 8 in seeds were (2/4) (1/2) (1/3) (1/11) with FF being (2/4) (3/11) with Final being 3 beating 2

2011 the Elite 8 in seeds were (2/4) (3/5) (1/11) (2/8) with FF being (3/4) (8/11) with Final being 3 beating 8

Hmm. Looks like we'll see a Jim Larranaga team in the Final 4 in 50% of the times that has happened (& also UCONN in the Final Four 50% of the time).

I don't think they're even favorites to beat UConn tomorrow, but it should be an entertaining game.
