Bien. Bien chiludo.
What one do you guys suggest for this year's CFB season?

Hulu + Live
YouTube TV
Fubo
Sling

Been debating for a bit and don't know which route to take. Last 2-3 years has been YT for me, but open to changes.

Thanks all

Do any of the other services let you change towns and keep watching? That's been my only complaint with YTTV.

The "record all of college football" is such a killer feature.

Can't you set youtube to record a game while in Columbus and the you can watch the recording whilst in wherever the fuck? You might need to delay watching the recording for a few minutes off of the live feed, but I think that should work. I've not tried to access my recordings on yttv while out of town, though, so I don't know for sure.

I cannot answer that question. My usage in the past has been so unidirectional as I really only plug in for Buckeyes games.
Did unlimited DVR arrive at Hulu yet? I've heard claims that their picture quality and sound is better as well.

The ability to have pre-recorded every CFB game is unbeatable, especially since I rarely care enough or have time to sit down and watch non OSU games. I'd never record WVU-Pitt, but when it turns out to be a barn burner, I can flick it on and start from the beginning (and the 15 sec skip works well to catchup watch a half in 15-20 min).

Yes, as long as you're not gone too long, i think you can watch them later.

Yes, Fubo is much better at that. I live on a boat and typically am cruising down the coast in the fall. YTTV was a nightmare. Had a good relationship with customer service, but eventually they just gave up. Every time I was in a new 'city' the app had a very difficult time maintaining my new location, then it would drop the stream, very frustrating.

Fubo does a much better job. Haven't had any issues yet, although this year I'm mostly in the same place.

For me the issue is less about the service and more about your device/connectivity. Hulu is, IMHO, the best service on Roku-based devices. Fubo is the better service on Apple devices, because the Hulu app on iOS is such a buggy pile of shit that there have been multiple Reddit discussions over the past three years from users asking if the problem was their AppleTV box or the Hulu app. I can personally confirm, when I cut the cord and tried the Hulu+ Live TV sub in 2020, my streams froze or dropped every 15-20 minutes. I switched to Fubo for the 2021 season and had no problem running 4 streams at once with multiview.

I do not know what service would be best if you're using an Amazon/Firestick device, because I'll never use one since Jeff Bezos is a fucking piece of shit and Alexa is a trojan horse that is recording your families' conversations 24/7 and sending them back to Amazon.

We’re Hulu+ Live on Apple TV (all 4K) and I’ve not had any issues.

Interesting. How long have you had the service? I’m wondering if they fixed the app or if the 4k Apple TV’s have a bigger cache…

My experience is weird because it only occurred with Hulu Live TV streams, the Hulu app as an on demand service works fine.

It’s been a while now. We did have Roku for a long time. I guess we still have one or two not hooked up… and had Hulu on those as well. For the Apple TV, I’d say we got serious about cutting the cord in ‘19? It’s been a while, like I said. They are all 1G 4K devices and all 64GB models if that helps. Either way, I do recall Hulu being a little bit flaky early on but not bad enough to switch back to Roku and it’s apparently gotten better over time in that I’ve not even thought about it being buggy until you mentioned it.

I tend to use it less than the wife. She uses Hulu daily. Believe me, if it were buggy… I’d hear about it. Ya know what I mean?
