How in the absolute fuck can the #1 team--according to four voters--be #1 despite scoring only three points via offense?
About what I figured.
If the Buckeyes do to Oregon what I think they'll do to Oregon, I believe we'll swap next week and you guys will be #2.
aTm? Did I miss something?
They just gave their coach a ridiculous contract, and he's been talking big during the off season. That must mean they're about to win it all (sort of like the September Heisman).aTm? Did I miss something?

So, you mean that scoring three points against an anemic Clemson defense might not really justify a #2 raking?
How do you put Okie in at #4 with a 7 point win over TULANE at HOME?
Regarding both Clemson and Georgia, playing defense at that level will win most games, but I don't think it will get you past Alabama or the Buckeyes.
Iowa deserves to be ranked about #3 after two impressive wins. It won’t happen, though.USC was ranked 14th coming into tonight. They got their asses kicked, at home, by a Stanford team who lost 24-7 to Kansas State last week.
The voters know jack shit.
I'd agree. Behind Bama and Georgia seems appropriate.Iowa deserves to be ranked about #3 after two impressive wins. It won’t happen, though.
