The goofy little fucker actually makes some good points.

Does he? He points out that scUM is deficient in talent compared to the big boys, even if it's a small gap like he claims, and then in the video I posted he can't figure out why scUM always comes so close (in his opinion, again) but never gets over the hump. Maybe that talent gap is significant after all. I think it's obvious that it's not just one thing that's a problem there but they can't admit it. Recruiting, player development, playcalling, leadership, and probably S & C are all lagging behind the elite programs.

Football is a game of inches, but talent gaps need to be a mile wide before they become statistically significant.... Okay, Steve.

When you start with a talent gap, you have to do something to overcome it. Something like player development, strength & conditioning, scheme, play calling, leadership, attitude, whatever. Wisconsin has done a great job of that over the past 20 years.

On the other hand, Michigan's strength is actually collecting the talent. Michigan signs top-10 recruiting classes. Michigan gets 5-star prospects. Michigan's average recruit has a rating of over 90.0, which means he's a 4-star player. Michigan has borderline elite talent ... and then they do nothing with their talent to get it to the level of the truly elite teams like Ohio State, Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Louisiana State.

Michigan simply out-talents 80% of the teams on their schedule. When they come up against superior talent, they fold because they don't know how to do anything except rely on their own talent. It's that whole arrogant, entitled, superior attitude, which actually does have real world impact.
