“Wideout is loaded” is probably my favorite statement of that abortion

Ronnie Bell is ok but after that their 2nd most in yards is a true frosh from Hawaii who was the #60 WR in the 247 composite.

2nd most in receptions......a 5’8 170 pound kick returner moonlighting as a receiver.

Sainristil the one they most baselessly hyped has 2 catches for 15 yards

Loaded to the brim!

I was partial to the slobbering over the “RB Room.”

said Chardonnay was a sure thing to be a breakout player (10 carries, 77 yards through 3 games) and 70 of those yards were on his first carry of the season against a terrible varmints D. They drool over Chris Evans (11 carries, 34 yards) and talk about Blake Corum (12 carries, 34 yards) like he’s some can’t miss blue-chipper. They even talk about Christian Turner (who?) brimming with potential if he could just stay healthy (edit- just looked him up, he has 64 carries for 266 yards, 4.1 ypg and 1 td from 2018-19 :lol:). Haskins is the only guy that has played decent (20 carries, 157 yards, 3 td), but for whatever reason, he’s only touched the ball 6, 8 and 6 times in their 3 games. He’s probably their best offensive player and he isn’t even touching the ball 7 times a game.

That puff piece looks like it was written by thakid if he turned blue.

I appreciate the vivid image this placed into my mind - and I'll be chuckling about it all day - but I'd prefer not to give the DFBIA any excuses that cast them in any way as "victims" (or whatever you want to call them) here. Saying that the football gods are fucking them implies that some greater power is holding them back, keeping them from being successful. In reality, their misfortune is not just bad luck or series of bad breaks. It is the result of their own fucking mistakes, over-arrogance, unrealistic expectations and just flat out earning the title DFBIA.
