Rocco committed silently to Notre Dame over a month to two months ago. A coach here on the site even said as much. I’m not sure why anyone got their hopes up. He’s been going to Notre Dame for a long time. Michigan will still have a better offensive line than Notre Dame all 4/5 years of Roccos career. You can write that down somewhere.

Exactly. Same with the “can’t win a big game” crap. It’s conveniently only a big game when we lose apparently. People choose to focus on the negative and magnify it’s importance

This sucks, but if we get Drew Kendall, we’ll be fine
Kendall, from a Massachusetts prep school with offers from Michigan, Penn State, Boston College, Duke, Dartmouth, Maryland, Massachusetts, NC State, Stanford, Syracuse, Virginia, West Virginia
Spindler, top 50 national player from instate with offers from Ohio State, Alabama, LSU, Notre Dame, Florida, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and others.
Yeah, that seems like an even trade off to me.
The overall confidence around their OLine is funny; they just managed highly mediocre results last season and lose 4/5 starters, three of which were top 100 recruits. They replace these starters with a bunch of 100-500 type players and the recruiting isn’t getting any better.
So they can’t do anything beyond mediocrity with top rated recruits, but these guys who weren’t rated as highly are really gonna take it to the next level for them.
I guess compared to their DT recruiting at least they can say they have warm bodies in the room?
The whole thing is just the quintessential example of
I’m sure Rutgers is in for a devastating ground attack against these road graders. Don’t let the entire world tell you different, it’s a big game because they can win.
