Yeah, well those losers don’t realize that unlike them, the university can’t go on welfare, collect unemployment and get food stamps after they leave the conference.

Interesting article. Apparently OSU was actively investigating playing an independent schedule last year.

This appears to have been first reported by the eleven warriors site; we’re currently discussing it on the Kevin Warren (B1G commish) thread. Also appears to be yet another case where ESPN reports something without citing their source, which yet again is an other site, not a source of their own.

Whoops - my bad.
FWIW, I think a good 30 for 30 would be about the weeks in July - September of 2020 when it was actively debated about if we're going to have a season, cancellation and restart...etc
The problem is, it's probably not going to be made for another 5+ years and you'd have to get people to go on the record who (in their current role) would never do that.
