scum is going down next week. Of course if the zebras involve themselves the way they did this game, it'll be very difficult. Wisconsin can't shoot so it wont be like this game here

Loyola and Drake look like they’re on day 3 of Arch Madness in the MVC. Went to OT 45-45. Guys on fumes but battling. Fun, ugly game.
Can almost feel March around the corner.

Also, Nebraska finally hung on to win one. On the road at Penn State, 62-61.

Loyola blew that one was up 42-32 and went into the tank on offense. In OT down 51-50 they hit a 3 late but was called for offensive pick foul and then had 3 chances in the final 12 seconds and couldn't get a bucket.
Hopefully we have a rematch in the MVC final because as they walked off the floor it got chippy.

Good God you can't lose at home to Nebraska. So now Ohio State must win this game otherwise you are the team that lost to the team that lost at home to freaking Nebraska.
Too much stall ball in the final minute for Penn State up 1 then couldn't stop the drive.
Needed Nebraska to beat Illinois not Penn State. Penn State I am sure will play out of their mind against us and it won't be easy.

If I were Wisconsin fans, I"d be very frustrated. They had the best chance of any team to capitalize on scUM's long layoff and they did for just long enough not to win.
scUM played very well to dominate the second half but that doesn't change that Wiscy's starters played pretty poorly. Three of those guys only hit one shot from the field. Potter and Reuvers didn't have a single rebound between them. I know scUM has a great frontcourt but still. Not a single rebound for your bigs. Yeowch.
I've come to accept that it is pretty unlikely we will catch scUM in the conference race this season. I just hope we finish our season strong and play a great game when we play them.
