2020-2021 Bowl Games Open Thread

got cute in the red zone

Never ceases to amaze me how often that happens. It's like they forget they have four downs.

Second and goal from the four means you have THREE downs to get four yards, and each incomplete pass you throw makes it worse. I guess they always think they have a fool-proof pass play, until it doesn't work.

Someday I hope the general public will not be stuck with the propaganda saying football was invented and perfected in the south.

But, money talks. I hate this part of the sport. Absolutely exhausting and probably not getting better.
Win or lose I’m checking the fuck out of sports media over the summer. ESPN has ruined this shit.

I figured someone with your self-professed superior football intellect would've already known he's a freshman, about 3 months ago.
17 months since he enrolled
24 months since he signed
36 months since he committed
234 months since the last 5 star qb signee enrolled at OU.

All of which were huge storylines for a prolific offense that kept renting QBs instead of signing/developing them.

But sure, try to clown someone with three.

Maybe Name-Image-Likeness will give guys a reason to play in non-CFP bowl games.

Probably would help if bowls meant more, as in getting rid of such classics as the Cheez-It bowl and about 20 others.

If you have less than 20 bowls, they all involve winning teams and get national attention. When you have 40, you get a lot of mediocre teams playing on Wednesday afternoon, with a limited audience. But obviously ESPN makes money off those games, otherwise we wouldn't have them.

Can't wait until we get 50 bowls and 4 wins qualifies you, even in a full season. Should be some great football. :roll1:
