2019 Week 8 CFB Open Thread

Beginning of the 4th quarter, and Oklahoma leads West Virginia, 52-14, with 485 yards of total offense. Not a huge surprise, but....

Oklahoma is 1/4 on 3rd down. That's right, the Sooners have had only four 3rd downs the entire game (and two of them came on the last FG drive).

By way of comparison, Ohio State trounced Northwestern last night and still and still had fourteen 3rd downs.

Pretty sure NW defense is ranked higher than WV

Don't know what to make of them. The only teams they've looked consistently good against are MAC teams. They looked great against SCUM, terrible against NW, great against a clearly depleted Sparty team, and like ass today.

Impressed at how explosive they are, and OSU has kinda been a mix of both, but probably much much better at grinding out tough games
