CFB Weekly Thread 2019 Week 5 CFB Open Thread

History before Nebraska was in the conference is irrelevant.
Sorry you cant defend them. Nebraska is a bottom feeder that has added nothing to the conference.

And you cant even touch Minnesota, Illinois, Purdue, Indiana... the West Div is Old Big Ten dinosaur that's dying.
I'll happily ship Indiana off to the West to add UVA.

You sound like a Michigan fan stuck in historical records.
All those programs are bottom feeders.
Difference is, Rutgers brings money and recruiting territory... while the rest are dead in the water and stagnant.
The conference itself talked about this and need to expand into territory that has increasing populations.
Nebraska was the worst addition of the 3. No questions.
What they did before joining the conference doesnt magically make them a good add.

Well NU at least had Pelini getting them 9 wins a year.

Well NU at least had Pelini getting them 9 wins a year.

Had being the operative word =/

Since both were in Conference...
Nebraska 4-5 against P5, 3 losses to Mid Majors, and 1-2 in Bowls.
Rutgers 3-5 against P5, 2 losses to Mid Majors, 1-0 in Bowl.

And getting back to the original points... you were saying Rutgers is worse than all of the West:

Unlike half the teams in the West plus Indiana?
Somebody has to lose.
Which of them would you take Rutgers over?

*crickets*

Please tell me how Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, and Purdue are so different from Rutgers.
You would really trade Rutgers for Illinois in the East Division ??
Get out of here with that.
