2019 Week 10 CFB Open Thread

We're lucky to get anything close to actual ramen in the Midwest. If you have any recommendations for a real ramen shop, I'm all ears. I think the best thing we had going was Freshstreet Yakitori... and they left.

I'm just being a regional fanatic. There's a lot of broth varieties, but the original is from Fukuoka where i lived.
You can eat $8 ramen every day there.

There was 1 place in St Louis that was decent. There was a grocery store thing that sold fresh noodles and broth for two for ~$5 a couple years ago but i havent seen it in a long time.
Even Seatle was all fake ramen, in 'Japanese' restaurants not owned or ran by people who know how to cook the food.
I long stopped even trying ramen, or okonomi for that matter, from restaurants as it just led to disapointment.
I wait until im there... which will next be Jan 17
