i'd hardly single out this season as something all that out of the norm. florida is 19-15. previous at-large teams since tournament expansion:

also, florida is easily the lowest-ranked team per kenpom's luck factor (link). they've lost a ton of games by no more than a couple possessions, and they've been competitive in pretty much every game.

I have a decent-sized investment on the Gators this game, so I'm pulling hard for them. I think Nevada is playing better this game than they did down the stretch, but at this point they are still trailing by a bit anyway. Unlike Reggie, I hate the Martin leg kick, it's just tool to try and bait the refs.
