By the way, I actually respect the hustle of the admin using this as an opportunity to get out of those cross country trips.

I think we can all relate to any excuse to get out of something. They seized the moment and will save travel plans for 20+ people in two cities? Just to take 2 more L’s. This is smart.

(on another note how the heck is Chicago State in the WAC? That cannot be sustainable.)

Reminds me of the Big West football conference back in the Mid 90s, they had Louisiana Tech, Northern Illinois, Arkansas State and Louisiana Lafayette. Along with the true "West" teams. (Nevada, San Jose State, Pacific, UNLV, Utah State, New Mexico State)

The WAC now is basically just a mess of castoffs. Missouri-Kansas City is in it too

New Mexico State is the only legitimate team left in the WAC. They should play hoops in the Mountain West (Hawaii plays football in the MWC but basketball in the Big West). NMSU is independent in football.

But as long as this joke version of the WAC still gets an auto bid I guess I can't blaming them for taking it every year.
