Less than a month later and I’m ready to welcome Seth to this roster with wide open arms. Need guys that can play and put the ball in the hoop- not any style with no substance (or general awful basketball-ing).

Roster needs help/upgrades.

This was out of a timeout (he called) in which his team had the ball, tied 68-68 with 40 seconds. They missed a jumper and he signaled to foul as Butler brought the ball up with 20 seconds.

That’s absurd from a coach.

I read that Wojo said after the game that he thought they were down 2 and that is why he ordered his team to foul. Coaching malpractice to be wrong about the score & make an adverse decision off of that with 20 seconds left. If he was coaching a bigger school or in a bigger conference, Wojo would be roasted.

Yeah, meant to add this quote from post game. It’s crazy to think the whole timeout he was drawing up a plan for being down 2, when it was tied.



Geez, then I see he followed up his poor coaching game (blown lead, up 4 under 2, fouling tied, losing OT) with this...



Maybe you say he’s trying to give Howard confidence to keep shooting, he’ll usually make more, but it reads poorly after a loss to say the kid missed shots.

Any chance the coach is just protecting his player and that it was the player who didn't know they were tied ? Seems absurd a coach wouldn't know plus do you usually have the ball in a timeout and say "Ok if we miss we are going to foul" because if he did wouldn't a player say "Coach we are tied" I mean this seems fishy to me.

I was watching live, after Butler rebounded he immediately jumped towards the the court giving his players the “hack arm” signal.
