Stevens and Watkins were well regarded recruits out of HS and PSU managed to hold on to both until their senior years where they are leading their team. Combine that with Myreon Jones and Izaiah Brockington making huge frosh to soph leaps.

PSU's depth is lackluster but if they can stay healthy they will be fine, top half of a good B1G. Which is why our blow out of them is probably our most impressive win so far.

But in regards to their big win tonight against MD... Never bet on a Turgeon team. They are never half as good as they probably should be, given their recruiting.

Presuming we win the two games before that.

A Texas Tech team that got slapped around by Iowa just beat top-ranked Louisville quite handily. Anything can happen in college basketball, especially early on.

Like Holtmann said in a recent interview with BTN, "Nobody knows how good anybody is right now."
