I just watched the TSUN Wisconsin game 40 minutes highlights.

  • Horniball is a terrible QB. He made Wisconsin a one-dimensional team.
  • TSUN looked very good, not great, on defense, but Taylor still managed to penetrate.
  • When Horniball was forced to pass, the pass contain fell pretty quickly.
  • TSUN is vulnerable to screen passes and other horizontal strategies.
  • Neither TSUN or Wisconsin can match Ohio State for speed. Both teams would be vulnerable to an up-tempo offense.
  • Did I mention that Horniball sucked?
  • Patterson is not as bad as some here have mentioned.
  • Wisconsin seems to me to be about as good or a little bit better on defense as Ohio State, especially in its last two games. That is also what all of the computers say. They had secondary problems that TSUN exploited.
  • The computers will drop Ohio State out of the top 5 this week and they will lose their 1 vote for 1st place in the polls.
My overall thoughts are that Ohio State will be severely challenged by TSUN if the defense does not make a step-level transition. Critical gaps will be filled by returning players next week and in three weeks, but the alarm bells will be ringing in WHAC.

It's drunk, you’re late.
Unfortunately the answer is not drunk. What I meant is that we never seem to draw the USC card when they suck - last year being the exception and even then we didn't give them the proper sort of anal roto-rooter I'm always hoping for.
When the Bucks have them on the regular season card, it seems like they're just a year or two away from a major NCAA investigation and talent divesting and the Bucks get creamed. When we catch them in a bowl game it's almost always in a stadium they're very familiar with.

I figured that’s what you meant, and I was writing something that agreed with you, but when I read it the second time, I was struck by the absurdity of complaining about meeting only good teams in bowl games.
