2018 Week 6 CFB Open Thread

Sam Houston State will have trouble with TBD. I wonder what the betting line is for that one.

And, SHS, that's not the way you do it. You don't wait at home and see who shows up. You actually enter into an agreement with another team before the season starts. Glad I could help.

Is this actually the case? How is this actually possible? Whom is determining said opponent? They can’t spin the wheel at least?

I’ll take the over, either way.

LSU does not seem like a viable contender to get to the CFP to me. Ed Orgeron is a proven failure as a head coach (if you go back to his Ole Miss days) and playing in the Swamp is always tough no matter how good of a team you are.

You guys both have it wrong. They are going to play against a mystery opponent. They are going to come out and do warmups. All of a sudden:

*glass shatters* Baw Gawd, that's Stone Cold's music!

Yeah what the hell is going on??? Such a bad slate the past few weeks. Maybe not wanting to ruin the NFL games since they already ruined it?
I think the good/interesting teams don't want to compete with the NFL games, so they've mostly abandoned Thursday to the league. I feel like it's been trending this way for a couple years, but this years Thursday slate has been really bad. It's a shame, I'd watch a good college game over the NFL every time.

I think everything you've said is true. NFL games trump NCAA even though many on this board prefer NCAA.
