Media lemmings love Izzo & high seeds in general. They think "oh, I can just pick MSU every year as the best team in the B1G and to go far in the tourney and I will look smart and appear to know B1G basketball even though I don't really pay attention" - Middle Tennessee didn't mean anything to them. Michigan being better than MSU this year meant nothing to them.

On paper MSU looks great but when they play its quite underwhelming
