Two bullet points up: all blind-side blocks are also illegal.

Not arguing whether the rule is good or not, but the rule is the rule. The block on Burrow was illegal by two different criteria that defines defenseless players.
Then they missed one. Missed many blind side blocks all season by the rule. TD would still count and UCF down a man then.

Not how the rules are written though... but agree to disagree lol.

That's cool. The rules could say you're not allowed to breathe on a QB and I really wouldn't care. Helmet to helmet is talked about when initiating contact. Unless you've never played the game of football, you know damn
well you'll get some cage and earhole contact on occasion when tackling especially given height differences in our game.

Joe is a Buckeye and I'll love him for it, but if I was playing for UCF and saw one of my dudes NOT de-cleat him within 5-10 yards of the ball while trying to run it down, then I'm gonna be barking at that team mate on the sidelines.

This play use to be what I loved about football when I played. I some how had a knack to catch people not paying attention (especially on special teams) and its so easy to blast someone while not even touching a helmet.

Just dont need to include your helmet there.

Anyways... GO BUCKS (take the olive branch lol).
