Hahaha! Gloriouseven better: MSU Snowflakes: The Coaching
They haven't gotten that right in years. Why would they start now?I wanted them undefeated, to help boost Ohio State's resumé. They couldn't even get that right.

But that hasn't been the case since Dantonio got there and established a new culture. "Sparty being Sparty" meant ineptitude stealing failure from the jaws of victory. That's not who they are anymore and Dantonio deserves the respect he's earned. Sorry to offend whoever said it but it's pretty stupid to be sticking to that tired old trope like some Pavlovian dog. They hear the Spartan bell and slobber out, "Duh, Sparty being Sparty!" It's like the fans of other teams who, every time the subject of Urban Meyer comes up, predictably and without fail predict that the next "fake heart attack" is just around the corner. Sparty has more conference titles than OSU does since Urban took over. If you're still spouting "Sparty being Sparty" then you're living in the past and don't follow college football that closely.Sparty been spartying a lot longer than that.
But Fuck Mi[Mark May]gan.

No argument that Dantonio is a good coach and has the program turned around. However, I was pointing out that the "Sparty being Sparty" goes back a long way before John L Smith - and even includes Nick Saban's tenure there. Plus that weird playcalling at the end of the game was vintage Sparty - only this time, Hairball one upped them by having O'Korn throw passes in a hurricane. But that hasn't been the case since Dantonio got there and established a new culture. "in a hurricane" is an unnecessary excess of words. Otherwise, I agree. No argument that Dantonio is a good coach and has the program turned around.
