over the last 15 seasons, nebraska has finished ranked in the ap only 6 times. the average ranking for those 6 seasons is 21st.

sure, it's possible that the cornhuskers can resume being a powerhouse. it is theoretically possible. but it certainly seems as though they are now nothing more than iowa.
