CFB Weekly Thread 2017 CFB Conference Championship Week Open Thread

The last time Stanford Football™ lost twice to the same team in one season was to the New Zealand All Blacks - yes, the legendary rugby team - over 100 years ago.

Come on, Tree!

We are! I don't care about the stupid talking heads... saying this game is basically useless. It's still one of the last college football games of the season. May as well enjoy it. Plus, Tree can give us a little insurance in case the committee loses its mind.
Several scenario's have the Bucks facing USC in a bowl game (Fiesta?). There is a whole lot of history to settle with them--9-1-13. I think that could be a nice consolation prize for this unusual season. Can't root for SC but 3 losses wouldn't have the same cachet.

I'm so excited/bummed about this last weekend. Been listening to lots of Buckeye Talk and The Fan. Trying to soak up every last minute. Got up at 530 this morning and have to tomorrow (tho I finegled my way into of getting off work early).

Forcing myself to stay up for every game.

Yeah, I love college football and the season seems to fly by. Just trying to make the most of what's left of it.

I know USC has played a pretty weak schedule but is there a specific reason they're being totally written off? It's the PAC 12 but they have better losses than us.

Is there a chance both Bama and us could be passed over for USC if they completely dominate this game?

Well they are already behind us and Wisconsin would be a bigger win than Stanford. I don't see them jumping us even if they blew Stanford out

And Stanford was their signature win. Doing it twice isn't going to matter much.

Was just wondering because of the HUGE jump for Stanford. Seemed like they may be trying to set up an "out" for themselves just to fuck with everyone.

Sidenote: The fact Stanford is ranked ahead of UCF is ridiculous. A 3 loss team should not be above the only other unbeaten team. I don't care what conference they're in.
