I think Va Tech would have had to lose out and then lose their first ACC tournament game for it to even been possible they would miss. They did win at Virginia which is as big of a win any team could get this year which would carry some big time weight.

Nebraska needs a lot of miracles to get in me thinks. Need to beat Michigan and Michigan State to just be in the conversation do that and we shall see. Will be rooting for them that is for sure.

The National Invitation Tournament will experiment with four rule changes for this year's event, the NCAA announced Tuesday.

They include:

• A deeper 3-point line. It will be moved back approximately 20 inches to the distance used by FIBA in international competition (22 feet, 1.75 inches).

• A wider free throw lane. It will be extended from 12 to 16 feet, which is used in the NBA.

• Quarters, not halves. The game will still have 40 minutes of game clock, but it will be broken into four 10-minute quarters, which was adopted for the women's college game in 2015. For each quarter, two free throws are awarded once a team reaches five fouls.

• After an offensive rebound, the shot clock will reset to 20 seconds, as opposed to the full 30.

Not sure I like potentially moving to quarters. The other 3 are ok. Would have liked to see a change to make 6 fouls the limit in college

Alabama seriously is one of the worst coached high major teams in America. Talk about an offense that is offensive. No flow, no teamwork, sloppy passing and catching. They have all the athletes and none of the execution.
