2016 Ohio State Pro Day

They like Decker and will like Elflein. Boren was never an NFL prospect due to his size but usually dependable. Farris, however, was certainly a bigger step down from Baldwin than I think anyone expected. Still, a ridiculous amount of talent overall
You zipped past the main point, and that is that Alabama is never penalized much for their ugly loss.

As for the rest, Boren was not dependable this year. Price has been a run blocking guard for two years with major inconsistency in pass protection . These two played miles ahead of their usual selves in the trilogy in 2014. Then there's Farris. That's 3 weak links and one is enough to derail an offense. That makes a staff fear that they can't hold up against a ferocious and disruptive front 7. It was cowardly and inexcusable but they were right to be scared.

P. S. I wouldn't say Decker had a great year this season either.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but losing on Sept. 19 is always going to be viewed in a better light than losing on Nov. 21; also, Alabama lucked out and had the others in its division lose games such that it still won its division and got the chance to play for the conference title, and OSU didn't this year. At least this year, I didn't feel so slighted by the Alabama admission over us, despite both teams only having one loss. I took more offense with the fact that the committee was more than willing to throw a two-loss Stanford team into the playoff over OSU, had an upset been pulled on the weekend of the conference championship games.

I agree with a lot of what you said. As you hinted at, this isn't a one time mulligan for Bama, as seen by the division losing title game berth. They've had a number of them. Osu didn't really deserve it this year but Alabama is given every second chance they can come up with.

I only skipped your main point because I agree with it. You're also right about the OL underachieving, which is kind of my point. It's just shocking to me how pedestrian the 2015 squad looked the first 11 games of the year, excluding Rutgers, considering the record level of talent. Well, the defense actually held up their end the majority of the time. It was mainly the offense that fell exceedingly short of expectations despite Zeke's best efforts.

Jesus, what would it take to hire him full time.

Yeah, I know... just let me dream a bit.
I dissent.

I think Whittfeild is a self promoting fraud.
I can't explain how he has procured the clients he has.
If Tom Herman were my QB coach I would forbid my Qb's from visiting him and working on scripted routines and throwing over broom sticks.
It's no wonder nary a team has tabbed him for their staff.

Isn't there a high-end happy hour you need to be heading to?
