The American conference seems to have a few solid teams this year. Temple, Memphis, and Houston are playing well. Navy is always well coached. Not a bad conference if you ask me.

Temple has beat Penn State and still plays Notre Dame, Houston beat Louisville and has Vanderbilt next week, and Memphis has a first round talent at QB with Ole Miss on the ropes right now.
