He will see that Bama's defense is a lot more complex and more athletic than Wisky's. I'm sure Saban will come up with some exotic defensive alignments and blitzes that Jones has not seen on film. Pressure and unsuredness does funny things to QBs.

we thought they'd limit the playbook and ask Cardale to do enough to win and not much more. They did nothing of the sort and kept running the offense.

Which means he would have no time to get comfortable in a new offense and certainly would not have a shot at the NFL.

His offense is here. His guaranteed pt as a wildcat qb is here. His future without football is here.

Little to no chance that he transfers.

Nor is the debate about the reason for that. The reason is clearly that southern sites present much more attractive tourist destinations in January. The debate is whether the fact that virtually all the bowls, and all the significant bowls, are located in the south creates any meaningful competitive advantage for southern teams.

I personally don't have a real problem with locating all the bowl in warm weather sites because it makes sense to do that. But I think it's conceivable that it generally creates a modest advantage for southern teams.

No chance. He had major injury concerns before the last two year long injuries, which are rarely met with full recoveries.

He can't throw for any scouts, he will have to ease into passing in fall camp. He has durability issues and no experience at another spot. Nfl Teams aren't going to be patient enough to make going pro a legitimate option. He also will have gone 1.5 years between live snaps.

If he could heal in February, I would hope he could go pro and excel. Given his situation, staying here seems like the only logical option.

I'll give you football is football..but that bowl game between Miami and Wisconsin. It was played in 45 degree weather and Miami wasn't prepared and Wisconsin destroyed them and that was in Orlando. I believe Miami was farvored or a pick em game,

Jones play was a shock. He has had accuracy issues supposedly but he looked sharp and very capable. He brings a big arm that we haven't seen since Heisman winner Troy Smith. He's the best pro prospect of the QBs right now.
These games and practices will be huge for him going forward.

yes LSU is pretty much always lacking a QB.

The one year we get a capable offense, our Defense takes a season off.
