I don't think OSU's running game is as good as MSU, but I could be wrong. No one thinks OSU is going to run it down Alabamas throat but just a quick glance at the stats from the MSU game shows that the offense had overall success.
138 rushing/290 passing/428 total
That's not being shut down
Right, but did Alabama struggle to keep up with substitutions as a result? That was an achilles heel for Alabama in the past, but this year the refs have stood over the ball more frequently to allow the defense to simultaneously substitute without risking the ball being snapped.
One offense cannot be truthfully measured against another unless they have played the same opponents on the schedule during the season, so this is a very subjective statement. But whatever, this is all useless banter on here and that is why they play the game. GO BUCKEYES!All three, have better offenses than OSU, so I think we are good.

MSU had only been held under 34 pts one time until the bama game. Bama gave up a garbage time td late. That was a game that felt like bama was in total control the entire time. Bama also forced MSU into a safety.
Many teams have put up good yardage numbers against bama this year. They have not often found the ability to score td's though. That will be a key for OSU. They can't settle for FG's.
Bama will give up yards. OSU will get inside the 20. The question is what will happen in the red zone?
What? Auburn ran for nearly 200 yards on the tide. I'd say that's success. An indoor site favors a passing team and trust me, Cooper is just one of several really good Tide receivers. I'm elated the game is indoors. No team this season has had success running on Ala....not Ole Miss, Aub, Miss State, LSU, etc. I like our chances against the run.
That is right. His name is not Dak Prescott.True ...but your young QB is no Dak Prescott.
Let's get this back on track:
Bama fans, how much success has Smart had this year at substituting his personnel? Saban's hatred of the no-huddle offense is well known, because it limits his ability to deploy their lethal sub packages and schemes.
It was a 99 point game. IDK where they got the yards. I was at a bar in Auburn pouring down fat tire. I think OSU has a much better RZ offense than Auburn though I think Nick presented speed at QB that Jones can't touch. I like the big guy to throw it away or take sacks more than I like him to pick up the first running the ball on 3rd down. I know you guys will think otherwise though. What? Auburn ran for nearly 200 yards on the tide. I'd say that's success.
