I've been muting the games, and putting a show on elsewhere (Rifftrax on the pc if the game's on TV, or whatever.) I'm finding I kind of prefer watching them that way.

I have watched the entirety of nearly every game muted for years.

My son likes to have the volume on so I will sometimes un-mute so he will sit and watch with me but that is the only reason.

Announcers and commercials are just noise.
