The truth is Florida State isn't that awesome this year. They just haven't really played anybody. But if Notre Dame wins they will be "title contenders", which might not be so bad if the Buckeyes take care of their business.

Give me a playoff game against the Irish. Please.

I haven't heard one, but then again when he starts his cliche-o-matic speaking mantra I tune out entirely.

I missed the rant in 2004. I was in Iraq at the time and for whatever reason the volume on the AFN station we had it tuned in on wasn't very high.

Oh, ND is still going to be "in the hunt" even if they blow this. I think they'll lose to the Fighting Condoms and ASU to spare us all.

My wet dream (football wise) is Ohio State versus Notre Dame in a national semi final. The winner of the Egg Bowl against Alabama - because they will get a second chance, of course - in the other.
