This is why I don't like the spread formation.

I don't understand why you can't have a short yardage package as part of your offense but it seems "spread" teams just don't do it. Hell, when was the last time our QB lined up under center?

Hit him right in the face mask with the crown of the helmet, not much more textbook targeting than that.

You should watch that replay again. Its up on CBS and probably elsewhere. He only took one step and didnt lauch. His facemask made contact not the crown of his helmet and it hit the QB in the shoulderpad/chinstrap area. Maybe the 15 but targeting was very harsh.
